During the holiday period, the Named Person Service will be covered by the Local Authority centrally. The Duty Named Persons can be contacted through the general enquiries line on 01343 563374 or via the generic email address educationandsocialcare@moray.gov.uk during normal working hours.

HEADTEACHER NEWS

As ever Speyside High School has been very busy – and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their very hard work this term – but also to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and safe Easter holidays.

We have seen lots of improvements to the fabric of the school this session.  This includes a whole new roof which should reduce our heating bills.

William Grant & Sons Apprenticeship Programme 2018

Today we welcomed Ian Palmer and Ian McDonald who spoke to Senior pupils about apprenticeship opportunites with William Grant and Sons.

Pupil should submit thei CVs to Mr Picksley by the end of term (Thursday 29 April) if they wish to apply.

S6 students holding unconditional offers for the University of Edinburgh

Over the next few months, the University of Edinburgh  will be contacting S6 students who have received unconditional offers to study there.

The purpose of the letter is to encourage students to continue to commit fully to their S6 studies in preparation for their move to university whether at Edinburgh or elsewhere.
