Just before the Easter holidays, Georgie Newlands and Janey Morton qualified to compete in the Scottish National Age Group Swimming (SNAGS) Championships being held at Aberdeen Sports Village this year.  They were part of the Elgin Swimming Club team, who altogether had 11 swimmers qualify for this very important event in the swimming calendar.

Reimagining the Culture of Flexible Spaces

With the support of Architecture and Design Scotland, some of our pupils have worked on "reimagining the culture of flexible space". Through a series of structured workshops, they helped the school clarify what a successful space means. The result of their work is visible here.

The contracts Moray Council has with Cornerstone and Aberlour (Alba Place) are due to terminate in March 2018.   Design services to be in place from April 2018.

Named Person Service

The Named Person Service is available to all children from birth to 18 years of age.  During the holiday period the Named Person Service will be covered by the Local Authority centrally.   The Duty Named Persons can be contacted through the general enquiries line on 01343 563374 or via the generic e-mail address

The S2 Social Enterprise Group organised Red Nose Day in school last Friday 24 March.  Pupils sold red noses and also spent lunchtimes making cakes to sell.  On Friday, pupils wore something red and £406.96 was raised.  Well done to all concerned.
