Chris Anderson Fund

The Chris Anderson Fund is open to talented athletes aged between 8 and 18 years old living across Grampian.

The fund can support training and competition expenses including equipment, accommodation and travel expenses.  The next deadline is Fri 11th August at 12noon.  Several Moray athletes have already been successful in applying for this fund to date including athletics, martial arts and golf.

Sporting Achievements

From a young age Ben has been passionate about playing sports. He started playing football at the age of 3, and at 5 years old played locally for Aberlour Juniors and Dufftown FC. Winning 'Player of the Tournament' trophies at both the Walkers Tournament in 2010 and Fochabers Tournament in 2011.

STEPPING OUT AT SPEYSIDE

We are looking forward to welcoming our P7 pupils to the High School on Thursday 1 June for our “Stepping Out At Speyside” transition event.  The pupils will take part in a range of outdoor/adventurous activities including Team Building Challenges, Orienteering, Outdoor Skills, Rugby Skills, Summer Sports and Climbing.

On Sunday 21st May,  at the second YDL league meeting at Aberdeen Kyle Wilkinson won all his individual events and led the 4 x 100m U15 boys relay team home to victory.

He began with the 200m and completed this in 25.79 seconds, and is currently ranked 10th in Scotland.   Long jump came next with a new PB of 5m 50cm, taking him to joint fifth place in Scotland.
