Fencing Success

During the October holidays Martin Gordon competed in two competitions; Gatesheadon 20 October for an U20 Ranking competition which resulted in Martin leaping up the rankings at both U17 and U20.  He is now placed 19th in the U17 (highest Scot) and 37th in the U20 (2nd highest Scot – the other is 2 years older than Martin).  This past weekend he was in the Highland Open (an adult competition)

There was a meeting in Room 20 on Thursday 31 October at 1.20pmfor anyone interested in doing eco-schools and gardening activities and improving the school grounds with furniture and artworks.  This was also for anyone interested in regular outdoor opportunities to explore the local area, plan and go on micro-adventures and try outdoor cooking activities. 

Sustainable Education Review: The Future for Moray Schools’

Members of the public are being encouraged to take part in an online survey as part of Moray Council’s sustainable education review.

The survey is the first of two being carried out as part of the review, which is designed to assist in highlighting the most important factors related to the school estate for the future provision of education in Moray.

S6 Leadership Residential

Three of Speyside High School’s S6 pupils have been enjoying the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and learn about the unique qualities and issues of Scotland’s national parks through a residential experience with other senior pupils from across Scotland.
